Terrific work, William. You are really onto something. It reminds me a tiny bit of Esplendor Geometrico but much more developed.

By the way, have you heard Venancio Mbande? It's like a zig-zagging army of marimbas. Really visceral but quite complex, too.

finally getting to listen to this now... excellent and intriguing new direction and i can't wait to hear more. nicely captures the feel of african music in a contemporary context.
